Our Story

House of Salaf began with a simple intention: raising our children upon authentic knowledge. As Muslim parents, we wanted our kids to grow up learning about Allaah, the Prophets, and the foundations of their faith from sources grounded upon the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf. But when we searched for children's books that met that standard, we quickly realized how few options were out there.

That search led us to Al Huroof, a UK based publisher producing beautiful, authentic Islamic children's books. We connected with them, became their exclusive US print and distribution partner, and began building what would become House of Salaf. From there, we partnered with other trusted publishers including Ilm Books, Tarbawee, and Umm Layaan, each carefully selected for their commitment to authentic content and quality.

What started as a small collection of children's books has grown into something much bigger. Today House of Salaf offers over 80 titles across Tawheed, Aqeedah, the Prophets, the Five Pillars, Quran learning, Islamic manners, and more, serving families, educators, and homeschoolers across the country.

Beyond Books

As we grew, so did our vision. We realized that nurturing faith in the home goes beyond what's on the bookshelf. That's why we expanded into products that bring Islamic reminders into everyday life: custom acrylic bookmarks with beautiful calligraphy, personalized leatherette notebooks for students of knowledge, Qibla direction signs, fridge magnets, and tumblers featuring authentic phrases from the Quran and statements of the Salaf.

We also carry natural wellness products rooted in the Prophetic tradition. Our miswak (natural teeth cleaning twig) has been used for centuries across cultures for its remarkable oral health benefits, and modern research continues to confirm what tradition has long taught.
