Learning about the Hajj - Five Pillars of Islam Starter Series

This is the 5^th book in the 5 pillars of Islam for young Muslim readers.

The 5 pillars of Islam are Shahadah, Prayer, Zakat, Fasting and Hajj. Muslims start learning about these pillars from an early age, and to help this learning journey we have designed this 5-part series using a simple and fun format.

We have used a question and answer format, to build basic reading skills, with the help of high frequency words (HFW) for the age of 5 to 7 year olds. This is alongside more challenging vocabulary which help to describe the concept/idea featured on each page. The material has been carefully designed to suit the age group and proficiency level and can be used as part of a homeschool curriculum or resource book in schools.

Reading is an important step in building confidence as well as language. Allow your child to sound out the letters and build the word. Offer a prompt if they need help and remember to give positive feedback for their efforts!
